Several years ago, I had the privilege of riding with some friends to visit their friend… the one in the painting.He was 91 years of age and full of wit and wisdom. I tell a funny story about him on my website. He must have loved his wife, he spoke of her often even though she had passed away five years prior. Now these beagle hounds filled the gap. Even though the pups he tenderly holds are yapping, clamoring for attention, he is still the main attraction. There was such a kindness about him. He’s passed on now, but memory of him still remains. Enjoy!
